Being born in a family of strong engineering background with professor dad holding a Ph.D in materials engg and mom working with Apple computers, it is no wonder that Robert Scoble was engrossed in electronic gadgetsand computers since 1965 when he was born. Just after a decade he worked on computers and motherboards. After his education in California and West valley Community College, his interest turned towards journalism. But soon he was back home i.e., to the field of computers, leaving behind the journalism course. He started his carrer at 1980 and soon he was grasped to blogging and there he was with Userland Software to learn blogging. he also had his hand in the field of sales support for computers. He honed his skills as a blogger here, using blogging as a tool to provide technical support and to raise the voices among customers.
His career geared up with Microsoft in 2003, after been noticed as an effectual blogger. Microsoft had him in its video team and here is where Scoble had his radical thoughts peeping in. He was a employee and a criticizer as well. He was announced that he was the best Spokesblogger. He acquired the status of 'Technical evangelist' as he was helping his company by promoting his company's products through his powerful speeches, writings particularly blogs.
He joined podtech.net as the vice president of media development in 2006 after he left Microsoft. He is actively producing ScobleShow, a video show in which video demos of new technologies are shown with Robert's visits with great technologists. He is rightly called as 'lifelong technologist'.
