Bounce Rate

Post by Jenie0109 »

The bounce rate is the number of single access pages divided by lands. Bounce rate is the percentage of website visitors who arrive at an entry page on your web site, then leave without visiting any other pages or leave without going any deeper into the site. Bounce rate is measured as a percentage.

A bounce rate above 35% usually shows some signs that it might now be what users are looking for. A bounce rate of 50% or above is a red light. Bounce rates of 25% and less are a good indication you are matching your content perfectly with your visitor.

Bounces can occur for different reasons, such as clicking a link to a different web site, typing a new URL, and clicking the back button to leave the site. A high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages are not relevant or useful to your visitors. It is an indication that the user was unable to find the information that they were looking for based on their query. A low bounce rate is the goal; you want your visitors to stick around, although different rates will occur depending on the industry and type of page.

How to Reduce Your Bounce Rate:

*Improve your web page headline.

*Change your website design.

*Improve the web page load time.

*Target the right visitors.

*Provide more choices.

*Provide a popular posts list.

*Link between your own articles as reference

Bounce rate is calculated as the percentage of visitors who leave your site, if they do not find interesting or boring. It is possible to calculate the percentage of quality of site score. It is calculated by adding the time on the spot. If the bounce is low but the length of visitors is more, then you must consider that the user can not find what they are looking for and the transition from page to page. The more a user remains on a lower bounce rate and has a positive meaning.

Hello,
Generally bounce rate can vary depending on the purpose of the site. Blog pages or new pages may have higher bounce rates than the normal pages as visitors regularly check to see if the page has been updated and quickly leave it if has not.

A bounce rate occurs when a web site visitor only views a single page on a website, that is, the visitor leaves a site without visiting any other pages before a specified session-timeout occurs. There is no industry standard minimum or maximum time by which a visitor must leave in order for a bounce to occur.

bounce rate is the percentage of a page’s visitors that did not take any further action, transforming the entry page into an exit page. For that to occur, visitors would need to either close the browser window/tab, hit the “Back” button, type a new URL or simply wait until the current session expires.

Bounce rate is the number of user, which comes on your website and close your website without visit another page. It is a important factor in promotion of your website because if the bounce rate is high means visitors don't like your website and you don't provide relevant information related to their searches. If bounce rate is low means users like your website and they get relevant information related to your website.
