- Brand your news publicize your company, service name in the title. Remember, you want your news release to make you findable.
- Use dynamic voice and well-built pretense words such as: proclaim, introduces, meeting, launches, opens, etc.
- Capitalize the first word in the title as well as all right nouns.
- Avoid terminology and business speaks.
- One-word titles are objectionable.
- Limit your title to more than 65 characters.
- Do not use all caps or exclamation points.
- Use periods only for abbreviation. Do not add a period at the end of the title. Use single quotes where you would use double quotes in print.
- "For Immediate Release" should not be incorporated in your title or print. This offline practice is no longer needed when distributing your news online.
