Often link builders only focus on search engines like Google, MSN or Yahoo. Because of this they miss great opportunities like the Open Directory Project and other kinds of potential link sources. There are many search engines there and one such engine is 'Clusty' which is a clustering search engine. This is quite similar to 'Ask' that shows clusters of results and permits you to easily steer between clusters. In fact, Clusty actually displays and uses clusters in its search results opposed to Ask which hides most of the clustering from the users and displays only a selection via the narrow and widen search options. There is a good potential for link building with Clusty due to its clustering abilities.
Just like Ask, Clusty organizes the results into groups called 'clusters'. This is a quote from Clusty's website: "Thus a search for 'pearl' organizes the top 250-500 results into subject folders such as Jewelry, Pearl Jam, Pearl Harbor, Daniel Pearl and Steinbeck Novel." This means that not only Clusty has grouped the results, but it has also applied similar algorithm rankings to those results which ensure the 'best' sites show up. One thing to remember is that Clusty can be used for researching more potential links. It doesn't have a "link:" query, but it does show you what it considers "authority" or "hub" sites for a given cluster. That means if you make as search on Clusty for an important key phrase; it will return the determined results that are most relevant for that phrase.
You may also see that Clusty is a Meta search engine that means it goes out and scours the web for related websites found on other directories or search engines. It shows you which sites chosen also appear in other areas such as Wisenut, DMOZ, Looksmart, Ask and more. Granted, lot of these are 2nd tier engines, but the fact that the website appears in them are indicated authority which is important. Hence it's one you likely need to research further. So, if you feel you are tired of all those link potential, think again. Clusty provides a host of newer options for you to review.

To develop the link value of your site you need to consider four main steps:
posted by sarah @ 10:39 AM permanent link | | 4 comments
Link Value is the professed value another site will originate from linking to you. The more value they perceive, the more probable they will be to link.
At its primary level, the most abrupt value most sites make out is a reciprocal link. "You link to our site and I'll link to your site." But such exchanges hardly ever bring important business advantage to either party.
Much more prolific are one-way links, "I will link to your site since I think your site is helpful and gorgeous to my viewers." Such links do not arrive much easily and entail hard work and effort. But they can fetch enormous returns in increased traffic, trained prospects and sales returns.
To generate value and convincing reasons for other sites to link to you, you have got to believe link value from three perspective:

Social media websites like Digg, Netscape and del.icio.us are bridges which join your website with a great viewer away from your site is usual reach. These websites will send guests that can become potential followers of your site or brand.
Social media communities also describe your site to other bloggers, the source of editorial column links that will get you referral traffic and better search engine ranks.
Social websites are trustworthy sources of justifiable traffic and should be educated as a means to increase your site reach and viewers amount.
The best way to attain this is to every time encourage usage of a specific social website that is extremely relevant to your site topic. This article will look at the methods which will allow you to do so.

In terms of building a central part viewer, social media is a match-maker. It puts up links to your blog in all the correct places and shows you off to citizens who might not have come across your blog before. Social media makes introduction; you will have to encourage the visitor that you are the right blog.
The advertising strategy here is simple; Choose a content topic relevant to your blogs focus, while potentially popular with the social channel you are targeting. Unless you own a blog that is much appreciated and followed by the social media community, never suppose that everything you write is ideal for it.
Angle your content for the masses to build up the most amount of attention. Those interested in what your blog offers will donate to you while the others will move on. This natural preservation model weeds out the most casual of visitors.
On top of the usual deference of content to social news sites like Diggs or Reddits, remember to network with social media influencers because these people have the skill to affect the status of your content both inside and outside of the community.
Apart from thrust marketing, you can also use social media to build your core viewers by publishing on community news sites like Newsvine and networking within exact social communities like Bumpzee, Blog Catalog or MyBloglog. These communities mainly contain webmasters and bloggers who might choose to follow your blog.

#1 Relevancy of the Site the linkage is on
Google love links on pertinent sites. It is doable to outrank somebody who has several links then you by purchasing just a few relevant ones. It is not compulsory that all of your back links come from related sites, but the common rule is "the extra the better".
#2 Link Popularity and Page rank of the Site
Obtaining links on sites that are accepted is very essential. When significant, or popular, site link to yours, it tells the search engines that you laudable of ranking fine for your keywords.
#3 Total Number of Outbound Links on the Page
The overall number of outbound links on a page is an main factor to consider when acquire a link. A site that has maximum outbound links is not going to pass to a large extent link popularity.
#4 Era of the Site the Link is On
Very old sites are trusted much in the search engines and have more power for ranking new sites. Google places a lot of weight on links from old sites.
#5 Position of Link on the Page
Where does the link exist on a page is very important. The search engines have developed block level analysis technique that permit them to shatter down a webpage into block.

Increasing your sharing channels will also need some lively effort on your part. Allowing other websites to organization your content in full is an easy way to get a little extra experience and expand some extra valid traffic sources
Translating your content into languages also makes your content available to a larger advertise, the Blog messenger recently hired a conversion team and set up a Japanese and Chinese version of their blog on sub domains.
Another method of receiving your content across to several audiences is to do guest blogging. For me personally, the real value of visitor blogging lies in the building of deeper relationships with the bloggers you write for.
I don not really care about the traffic exposure you will receive. To only focus on the subscribers, traffic or deep links you will get is short period thinking.
Guest blogging is a front entrance towards future recommendation and links. It is far easier to field a blogger who has before published an entire article of yours on his or her site. If you have an outstanding article that just begs to be shared with others, you will easily get a state because you have already acquired that trust.
There is other profit to guest blogging and many bloggers have built part of their audience by guest blogging dynamically on various relevant sites with the viewers they want.
In the background of our discussion, guest blogging is a good way to build a supportive network of peers, bloggers who will distribute your content when needed. Follow guest blogging tactically and above all, focus on relationship building.

Networking and Exciting Engagement
This is a ways to network with other bloggers and I will just like to highlight that the networking actually starts with that primary act of unrestricted giving. That first signs of real interest in the other person or his/her work.
The most successful way of networking is to suggest something of real value for the future party, without requesting something in arrival. As a replacement for of just promoting yourself in your comment, write words which initiate a chat between you and the blogger.
For example, Caroline has developed a brilliant blog commenting strategy which allows her to capture the attention of bloggers and increase new readers. To me, the traffic you get is not really a big matter. The most important thing to do, when it comes to networking, is to show your commitment to the other party.
Three main points for successful networking:
Your Visibility: The more obvious you are with your support of the other bloggers, the better. You desire to make them think of you as frequently as possible. Continue on their radar by leaving applicable comments and keep in actual conversations away from the blogs.
Make them alert of you by linking, promoting, sharing and talking about them on your own blogs or social websites.
Alternative Communication: It is important to move from the email-pitcher role and get into a more informal relationship with the bloggers. One way to do this is to talk via Internet messengers, emails, and phone.
The style of message is an important relationship means. Regular meeting attendees can attest to the value of networking with manufacturing peers whom you have only met online.
Community as Magnet: Cheering connections between readers and group discussions is a brilliant way to describe people into your circle and turn them into hardcore supporters through exciting engagements.
There are many ways to build a community more to your blogs. Just an important point to note: It is not about raising the number of visible activity. It is about building dealings with a group of persuaders who will push your content because they favor you or your blog.

News reporting on popular sites frequently reveals the power of having helpful viewers with the ability to link. Most of the contravention news on Tec crunch receives a huge amount of track backs referencing their post and each of these lesser blogs are funneling traffic towards the basis when they write about the same news story.
Andy Beard: the first blogger to break the news on the new Google Page Rank drop. His detection was soon followed by a sudden large amount of links; some of them just hours after his post were published. He then obtained 187 more links in total, with some of them coming from large blogs.
Andy had over 1500 more subscribers when he published the post and loyal viewers which respects his truth and knowledge. I subscribe to his feed and do believe there are at least a few powerful bloggers who read his site on a usual basis.
Would the news spread as fast a new blogger broke the news? It might be a hot topic, large blogs can not link to a story they do not know about. And even if they knew, would they really link to a source they are unknown with?
Trust in the reliability of the info resource is important to distributors of contents.
A new blogs could use social media channels like Digg to leapfrog over the obstacle of darkness and a weak blog brand. On the Digg front-page would make public sit up and pay attention.
But a larger blogs with a recognized blogs can easily control link acknowledgment by jumping on the news and writing up their outlook version of it. Cause such a site has a great number of readers with blogs; most of the quote links may avoid the original source and go straight to the better blogs.
This condition does occur often in news reportage but not so frequently when it comes to the manufacture of unique or original content that is not time-sensitive. Using this example to show that your viewers can become sharing channels which will power the status of any available content.

It is no longer just a matter of how many number of links point to a site. There are a number of cases of sites in which 50 good quality links outrank sites among hundreds of links. It is not quantity; it's the quality of the links that build up rankings in the search engine results page.
Editorial column links are more 'usual' from a search engine's viewpoint and, hence, more precious because the article has, two or three targeted links points to your site's pages.
Just like quality link bait, which is distinctive, innovative and valuable content, quality hosted content on esteemed sites will also naturally build up its own back links - the final justification and the desired outcome of inserting quality content. Finally, since these links are seen on pages optimized with your keywords, search engines will think them enormously pertinent to the subject at hand.

Directory Submissions - Use relevant keywords as your site's title when submitting to a directory for more backlinks. So you will rank higher for those keywords. But do not stuff keywords on title. Paid directories give your sites much stronger backlinks, so try to purchase them.
Blog Comments - If you comment on the related blogs which don't put the "nofollow" attribute on links, then comment that you made will give you one backlink. This is another good way to attain backlinks
Blog and Website Templates Sponsorship - Most of the free blog/website templates have some sponsors' links on the footer and for each person that uses the theme, the sponsors get one backlink! All you have to do is pay the template designer to place your link on the template, and in return, you get thousands of backlinks and the usual price for sponsorship is nearly around $40 to $100.
Forum Signature Links - Links from forum signatures will not do much because of the fewer number of your posts, but when you get a lot of posts, they will serve their purpose and do not spam for it.
Link Exchange - You can use link exchange services like link market to find link partners While exchanging links be sure to get links from related sites so that the value of the links are higher.
Blog Posts/Site Reviews - Paid or free blog posts for your site will help your rankings since they stay forever on the blog's archive. They will not only give you links and visitors will also come your path especially if the blog where the post published gets a lot of readers.
Article Submissions - Creating high-quality articles and submitting them to article directories after putting your link below the article, you'll receive a backlink for each article directory that you submit your article to.
Link Baiting - Build good content that will spread fastly and most likely people will link to your site. Try to make use of your creativity and make your link bait now.

When internet was in its early stages, links were used in a very straight forward way to help visitors find pertinent information through one's website. However, as the importance of links enlarged due to run for search engine optimization, links have since been used to help webmasters as a substitute of visitors.
When the Google came up with its concept of Page Rank as a method of website all sites were classified based on their importance and relevance. By Google's logic, the importance of a site increases by links that point to it, and the importance is directly relative to the significance of the pointing site. As a result Google's ranking algorithm lends important weight to this ratio, affecting the search engine results.
Links to other websites is critical to any existing website and especially so for new sites to find traffic. Link partnering is important for the following reasons:

The respond lies in indulgent the psychology of the resolution making procedure and making use of typical direct marketing practices to direct people to take a precise course of action.
A link target - editor or site holder, the webmaster, who will take the conclusion to link to you or else not - goes through three steps in achieving that decision:

Always found it tough to get other bloggers to link to a new blog? Sure you have, it is not easy at times. Even recognized blogs require expanding their traffic and power on a normal basis, and link baiting is one of the best methods to do it. It is not without possible risks, but the time honored custom of being opposing, in order to get attention is well established, and done correct, it is a tough way to split into a new area. There are also safer methods of link baiting;

Breaking into an accumulating critical mass quickly for your blog is not an easy task. While popular blogs in your niche have established brand, it is possible to 'steal' their mindshare and build a tough readership of your own.
The success of a blog frequently depends on its viewer's size. When many people read your blog frequently, your content will potentially be spread widely, which grows your site faster?
So what is the secret to building a large blog readership? Content distribution and the development of a supportive core viewers. And that is really the key. It is not just about the quality of your content. It is about having broad distribution channels.
Once again, readership growth does not only depend on the value of your blog posts, but rather their circulation reach. It is about how much attention your content receives.
The value of content is skewed and much of its eventual impact actually depends on distribution more than anything. Top quality link bait will be impotent if only three people get to see it. On the other hand, a mediocre article can become extremely popular if 100 bloggers see and write about it.
The correct same AP story can be found on sites like Google News or the Huffing ton Post, but they did not get any exposure on Digg and hence, did not receive as much attention from the blogosphere.
Having people who see and distribute your content is vital for readership growth.
If you can expand your sharing channels, you can even develop perceived power and brand strength, just purely from your everywhere presence. People will naturally talk about what they see regularly or the brands they are familiar with, instead of something unknown to them. This is known as mindshare.

1. Buy links from websites that exercise editorial integrity.
Google recommend webmasters submit to Yahoo! Directory. Submit your site to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!, as well as to other expert sites. When evaluating whether to buy a link from a website browse a few pages or more. If they sell links to Viagra sites then it's fairly obvious that the website owner is not exercising editorial veracity. So buying links there could trip a filter.
2. Diverge your Anchor Text
The easiest filter for search engine to put in place is where one detects and devalues links with identical anchor texts. So you can vary your anchor texts like web hosting provider, reliable web hosting, PHP web hosting, quality web hosting, affordable web hosting, etc.
3. Buy the Non-Keyword Links
One of the tough things for the simpleton SEO to do is to buy non-keyword links. If you need one do a search on Google for the keyword of your wish, and then analyze the backlinks of the websites within the top ten. You'll most likely find that a surprising majority of those links do not contain any keywords.
4. Avoid the Site-wide Links
Try to avoid footer links as they trip link spamming filters.
5. PageRank Zero Could Pass Link Weight
PR0 pages can pass link weight. On the basis of the PR0 link, the linked-to page outrankes the linking page on Google.
6. Avoid the Automated Link Spamming
Automated link spam like referral log spam, blog comment spam and automated web directory submissions to hundreds or thousands of web directories; all have one in common. Automation. They most often duplicate spam and create patterns that are easily detected and devalued by search engines so don't do it
7. Image Links and the ALT Text
Do not forget about image links and the attached ALT text as image links are not subject to all the scrutiny and filters that the text links are subjected to. And ALT text is treated the same as anchor text of a text link.
8. A Link on a page is not the same as link on a page
Links which are placed in the footer or in an area that is unlikely to be seen by a human carry less weight than links that are placed above the fold. So avoid putting links in footer.

This traffic strategy can be very helpful for new blogs because they really need guests to develop viewers.
Blogging as often as possible allows you to fill your records with content, while attracting traffics naturally from search engines. I have also noticed that if you have a recognized web log with a decent number of back links, volume blogging is an excellent method for you to grow your viewer's base.
Recognized websites have the outlandish skill to rank well for whatever keywords that are in their title tags and this is something you need to develop if you were weak in the marketing/link baiting department.
The absolute volume of blog posts forces search traffics to your website, which you can then convert into regular followers by highlighting your flagship contents or providing incentives which entice them into taking specific actions.
Testing the Blogging Strategy: Something You can start
In a bid to increase your website traffics levels, I have decided to experiment with volume blogging. As such, I have made a choice to add at least one more blog post everyday and measure the effects on overall visitor traffic.
If you have just started a new blog or have been blogging for a while, why not try the volume blogging tactics for months to see if it helps to bring in more traffic? You can always write shorter articles for your extra blog posts so as to save energy.
A lot does depend on the exact keywords you are targeting as well, so make sure that you pick a bunch and include them regularly in a variety of blog posts. If you have not already, be sure to read my article on how to find your long tail keywords.
If you have some time to spare and desperately want to increase your daily traffic ratio, try working the volume blogging point of view. It might be just what you need.

The trick is you will only need to create new content as often as possible for your blog. This means increasing your blog posts substantially, in an attempt to attract more search engine and referral traffic.
The 'Volume Blogging' follows a basic logical process, one that is perhaps so matter-of-fact that I have not come across any articles on this specific topic. The traffic equation here takes the following form:
The more contents you write.
The more blog posts get indexed by search engines/social websites
The more long tail keywords you eventually rank for which leads to.
Increased search engine visibility and referral traffics.
A greater number of visitors arriving at your websites daily.
I have personally tried this process with some new blogs and have noticed upwards of 30% growth in terms of overall monthly traffics over a period of several months.
It is not hard to imagine why: Content is the source of all traffics and the more contents you have, the more opportunities you have for search engine or referral traffics.

From the beginning to the advanced methods, the ones you should use when your site is a small bit older and you're already getting a fair quantity of visitors.
The five strategies to get inbound links are:
Directory submissions are a very significant step for a new site, because this is almost certainly how search engines will first find you.
Reciprocal links are the second strategy. Don't use this technique anymore because it's too much work and there are not enough rewards.
Reprint rights articles is one of my favorite methods of obtaining back links. We have lots of good page rank article directories to submit.
Buying links is critical strategy if you are not an expert in search engine optimization you should not try buying links to improve your rankings.
Link baiting is one of the most powerful methods of online promotion, but this should be used only when your site is a little bit older and able to the web.

The key importance here is occurrence. If you have just started a new blog, get it indexed by Google first and then and post as frequently as possible to increase your contents visibility on the search engines.
A high frequency of blog posts, each with specific variations of your keywords will help you to regularly get more search traffic.
Long Tail Keyword Development Strategy
To make things easier for you, I have broken down the procedure of finding and developing your long tail keywords into a simple five step process. By following this strategy, you should be able to successfully grow the amount of search traffic you receive daily.
Enter your core keywords in the Adwords Keyword Suggestion tool. Download the entire list in a text or excel format.
Perform competitor analysis manually or through SEO Digger.
Compile in one list, all the long tail keywords from both of the above steps.
Start to create web pages or blog posts and include at least one keyword + a phrase in the title. For Word press users, install and use the SEO Title Tag plug-in.

Then you are not alone. Here are few tips to consider about your content and theme to improve your page ranks.
1. Make necessary changes. Try to make 2-3 posts per week with relevant content as this will unleash the spiders to check all the pages and improve the rankings.
2. If you have pages with more than one topic per page then group it on their own page and name it with the title of the main keywords. Another method is, choose a page that has the content for conversion and relevance and then link from all other supporting pages to the new page for want to rank the highest.
3. Using an HTACCESS file can make sure that your site is not penalizing itself as a result of http version and www versions of your pages. It is easy to implement and is worth the investment in time. You can also use an HTACCESS file if you are creating sub folders in your website and wish the index page to be something than index.html or other extension your site uses.

When you come across a good prospect, woo them. Initially, attach a link on your personal links page to their website. This is an important first step; it shows good trust and ups your odds of reciprocity.
Once you have added their link, make contact with the owner or webmaster of the company. Since you will probably do this by electronic mail, you want to make lucid that your message is not trash mail. Next let them recognize how much you realize their site. Make sure you highlight that you have actually visit the site and that their commerce is not just a indiscriminate pick. Present the URL for your links page, and promote them to test out the link for themselves.

Depending on your overall link profile, on-site optimization and site strength, you will position a chance of ranking better than your competitor on the search engines.
There are two ways to find your competitors keywords. One is to visit their websites and analyze their web pages and check out their title tags and
A faster method to perform competitor's keywords analysis would be to use free online keyword parsing tools like SEO Digger and Google Adwords, which allows you to immediately find out which keywords your competitor is targeting by simply inputting their site URL.
SEO Digger can be inaccurate when it comes to actual keyword ranks but is generally useful as it shows you various keywords which your competitors are ranking for at the moment.

Three-Way Link Exchange is somehow similar to two-way link exchange but the differentiation is instead of putting a link to another site on your own site, you will place its link on the other site you have. It might sounds complicated but we can see briefly.
Three-Way link exchange is a refined term not a generic term. This term is used in case when more than two pages are concerned in linking. It means that Page X is linking to Page Y and Page Y is linking to Page Z. But Page Y is not linking to Page X and Page Z is not linking to Page Y.
This type of link exchange is better do with when you have a new website and you want to have a good page rank as soon as possible. Of course, that still depends if your link exchange partner has recognized a good page rank already. So be sure to choose a good and best optimized website before you ask to trade links with its webmasters.

Link the site which you are going to propose for link on your site. BEFORE you ask for a link in revisit and give the location of the link. It's harder to say no if you can give the URL of where their link is.
Give them the exact link text to use, even going so far as to put it in HTML so they can just cut/paste it onto their page. This is what people expect while doing link exchange.
Check whether the site have the links page or not.

Avoid linking to your rivalry, and as an alternative, focus on business that are in a few way associated to yours and have content that is helpful to your clients. This will enhance your link popularity as well as develop your customer base.
Not all websites would like to link to new sites, so you will need to do some study when you are looking for possible linking partners. Google is a superb starting place for your search. Make confident you go into keywords that you feel customers would go in to find your own website. Keep in mind your goal of make out quality, highly ranked, non-opposing websites that have a links or resources page.
Visit the websites you have recognized and neutrally review them. Look at the feature of the product and the graphics. Then confirm out the other websites they are connected to and find out if your own site would fit in.

In my previous article on how to choose your blog niche, I have written about how keyword research tools such as the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool can help you determine the success of a niche.
These tools can help you to develop a wide range of secondary keywords when you type in a keyword such as 'Link building'. Both tools will give you an extended list of tools sorted according to their search volume.
These keywords, phrases are components of long tail keywords you should target. What you should do is to keep a list of these keywords in an accessible document and when you write any article, be sure to include at least one of these keywords as your title tag.
This can be done analytically and you should go through the entire list at least once or twice. You should join these keywords with a multiplicity of phrases which are similar to search queries.
If I were to use the first few items on the Adwords list above for 'Link building', I would include specific phrases before or after the keywords.
Here are some examples of possible page titles:
How to choose a link building
4 ways to apply for a link building
Bad Link building to avoid
Another tool you can use is Google Suggest, a search box which guesses what you are typing in it and offers suggestions. This uses data from the overall popularity of searches it sees and can be a useful way to slight down your searches to specific keyword niches.
Note that these keyword suggestions are not long tails but rather categorical keywords which each contain a whole bunch of long tail keyword phrases. Google suggest should only be used to narrow down your search so you can do further analysis through keyword tools or competitor analysis.
If you are using Firefox as a browser, I highly recommend installing the Customize Google extension because it allows you to have Google Suggest functionality on the usual Google search boxes as well.

Flash sites are an ache to optimize for search engines. To a spider they will emerge as a single page site just the home page and nothing more. That means that all the customary good practices of building content, using keyword phrases and cautiously planning internal linking are out the window.
Does that mean that Flash sites have to look for search engine results? Not a bit of its effectual linking strategy can be the keystone of an optimization campaign for a Flash site.
There are two significant factors in search engines optimization. They are on page factors and off page factors. The first is about the satisfied you have on your own site, the second the excellence of inbound links and the linking text that is used on those links.
With a Flash site, you have effectively discounted the on page factors. Flash sites don't present either in a format that search engines can understand. Even the search engines that try to index Flash sites have not established the capability to consistently access the entire site's content.

One approach search engines rank websites is based on the how many of our links to their pages from associated, eminence websites. Goggles formed the system, and now practically all the most well-liked search engines utilize it. So, what can you do to attain link popularity?
Initially, here are some of the steps that should not be done. Do not link up with a greater number of other websites, mainly "link farms" - pages that contain line after line of haphazard links. Search engines may assertively differentiate against your website if you are related with a link farm.

Most of what decides that the ranking position of any testing page is due to what work done off the page, in the form of links from new sites. Receiving those links naturally has turn into the hardest part of SEO. Hit Tail is the keyword or analytic programs you can use on your website. You will just need to drop some lines of code in your site template and both programs will start to suggest exact long-tail keywords you can use.
They can be considered some sort of an idle and semi-passive way to develop a range of long tail keywords. I have personally tried both analytic packages for several weeks and did not find them to be really useful because of several reasons:
Poor Keyword management interface: If your site receives a group of search traffic, the analytic programs will give you a lot of suggestions, sometimes far too many for you to implement. Filtering and selecting exact keywords from the list offered still requires some degree of time and work, not to mention that the weak interface makes it not possible to group, sort and tag keywords according to exact to-do time frames and priorities.
No built-in search volume measure for each keyword phrase they suggest. You might want to run the list of long tail keyword suggestions you receive through a search volume analyzer to find out which one to prioritize. Links to free keyword tracker programs like Word tracker and the skill to sort the keywords according to approximate search volumes would have be very useful indeed.
Weak performance for new sites. If you have just started a new website or blog, these packages will not help because if you do not have any search hits, you won't get any keyword suggestions.
It also means that even if you start getting small search traffic, the keywords suggestion will come quite slowly. However if you are pushed for time or am unwilling to do research on your own, these analytic packages might come in handy. This does not allow you to plan and create content go forward to match your search marketing campaigns.
If I were to choose one program to use, I would go with they offer more statistical features than Hit Tail while substitute as a SERPs tracker which enables you to monitor how your keywords are ranking on the search engines.
Hit Tail only allows one website per account so if you want an analytics tool for several websites, would be better as they allow you mix and monitor multiple websites within the same edge.

The famous question in link exchange is:
Is the link exchange of two un releated site might week the link startegy or reduce the page rank of the site?
Such a link would neither damage their own website nor Linking Matters. Indeed some research on network hypothesis might recommend that such links are very important in spreading information.
Remember that page rank is only one of many factors that influence your site's ranking on Google's. Its significance has been greatly overstated by that impressive looking green bar that appears on the Google toolbar if you decide to download it. Many people use it to speed the sites they are visiting.
But the page rank score on the toolbar is disreputably inaccurate and also Google often guesses the page rank of a page. It should never shape in your decision whether to link to a site or not. If you discover a site you want to link to go ahead. It will not do you any harm. Indeed, providing outbound links may carry a recompense from other factors of Google's algorithm.

So marketing sets out the company objectives, public relations garner news coverage, link building produces an online buzz and enduring high quality links, SEO makes sure the website is optimized with high quality content that would turn those links into search engine traffic.
There are six main objectives that you should address when you have thousands of links. Here they are:

2.Trace out who links to you currently - and who gets you traffic.
3.Catch the most out of what you already have.
4.Look at marketplace segments where you are weak.

Link Value is the apparent value another site will derive from linking to you. The more value they see, the more possibility they will be to link.
At its basic level, the most immediate value most sites need for reciprocal link. "Once we proposing for a link we are posting their link in our site first" But such exchanges rarely bring important business profit to either party. Much more productive are one-way links, "I'll link to your site because of the site usefulness and attractiveness to my audience."
To persuade other sites to provide you a one-way link you require to maximize your link value. The more value they see the more likely they are to link. To make value and compelling reasons for other sites to link to you, you've got to think link value from three perspectives:

Most of us recognize that the best means to get traffic while waiting to be listed by search engines is through being linked to by further quality sites. This also assists with rising Search Engine rankings when search engine spiders do pay a visit.
Depending on the search engine, the "solitary" way to have a chance at a decent ranking is to have new sites linking to yours. Currently, webmasters get a lot of link exchange email communication so it is more complicated to get noticed.
A link target - the webmaster, editor or site holder who will take the conclusion to link to you or not - goes three phases in taking that decision:
1. Your link request found in their inbox - do they open it or not?
2. After they open it does your copy peak their attention enough to get them to look into your site?
3. When they visit your site, do they see as much as necessary to persuade them that it is linking to?

One-way link building is a good way to improve your link popularity and ranking in the search engines. These links are more difficult to obtain than traditional reciprocal links, but pay off in securing solid long-term search engine ranking results.
The big "plus" point of one-way links is that you don't have to worry about linking back to a "bad neighborhood". If your site has links pointing back to sites that serve as "link farms", you may not gain, and could actually lose page rank. These sites are very rarely focused, and tend to have links to and from all different sorts of sites. Since there is no particular topical emphasis here, it is clear to other search engines that the sole purpose of these sites is to artificially increase the number of links pointing to your site.
Another advantage to these focused, one-way links is that they will tend to stay in same place. A website that features a link to your site probably does so because that site's owner thinks that their visitors will benefit from the content which your site has to offer. Rather than simply trying to manipulate search results, they want to add to the experience of their visitors and you benefit from having a long term link in place. Sites that are featuring reciprocal links may simply drop your link when it no longer suits their linking strategy.

These keywords are basically multi-phrase search queries which guests use on search engines to arrive at your websites. These long tail keywords are much more targeted than the main keyword topics and they exactly represent visitor's need for specific information.
For example. 'Bank Cards'is the general keyword topic and long tail keyword within this position includes terms such as the following:
These long tail keywords are real search queries, therefore optimizing your sites and creating contents to match these search queries will allow you to be a focus for visitors who search for information via these and similar search terms.

One way link is one of the link building methods. It is a link that points to a website without any back link; thus the linkage goes in one way course. It is suspected by many industry consultants that this kind of linkage would be considered more usual for search engines. One Way linking method is called Incoming Links or Inbound Links.
An efficient method to make this type of one way linking is by submitting articles through article reproduction sites and article directories. These articles usually contain an About the Author box that contains a one way link back to site. When publishers use these articles, those one-way links help authors to enhance their page rank.

The value your web pages gets from a linking page is equivalent to the entire PageRank value of that page divided by the number of outgoing links on that page. Receiving a link of a PR4 page that have only 20 outgoing links is better than receiving a link from a PR4 page that has 60 outgoing links.
With the similar inspiration, it is better to get a link from a PR2 link page that have only 10 outgoing links than getting a link from a PR4 page that have more than 100 outgoing links. It is therefore as significant to calculate the total number of outgoing links on a links page, as it is, to assess the PR of the linking page.
Thus a huge number of people would dither, as they insist on getting a link from a high PR page, but if that page has 100 outgoing links, your page will get only 1/100th of that value.

How ? This is a fundamental question that every link building drive should address.
can you progress your link requests so that more websites will take the assessment to link to yours
The answer lies in understanding the psychology of the choice making process and making use of classic direct marketing techniques to direct people to take a specific course of action.
A link target the webmaster, editor or site owner who will take the decision to link to you or not goes through three stages in taking that conclusion:
Stage 1: Your link request comes in their inbox do they open it or not?
Stage 2: After they open it does your copy peak their attention enough to get them to visit your site?
Stage 3: When they visit your site, do they see sufficient to persuade them that it is worth linking to?
Think about it this is quite a frightening task. You want the goal to stop what they are doing, read and understand your request, assessment your site and then go to the bother of creating a link and publishing it on their site.

1. Links are contract term: Any time you sign a contract with a new business partner, include in the agreement that they must link to your site.

Most people use Google Page Rank as a calculation of the quality of a link target usually derived from the little green bar that you see when you download the Google toolbar.
This is a fault. The score that is shown on the toolbar does not symbolize the real Page Rank that Google assigns to the page. It is disreputably inaccurate almost to the point of being meaningless: it should only be taken as a very uneven guide and in my opinion should be marked 'for amusement only'.
So if the Page Rank scores Google shares with us are meaningless, how can we measure the quality of a potential link target? Here are some suggestions:

Not all websites are completely equal. The value of a website is capacity to attract natural votes from social websites depends a huge deal on its overall position and content.
For ex, if your business websites focuses on topics such as real estate, auto insurance or financial crop like cards, it may be difficult in making an article on it popular in social websites like Digg etc.
The popular interest in the content of your website is generally the main problem. You can create an attractive press release and beginning it with friendly votes but it remains unlikely that it will be very well-received.
‘Cause you are dealing with a crowd that favors good-looking non-commercial content that usually revolves around popular or position sub-cultures.
For the websites, the key to successful viral marketing not just lies in creating attractive on-site link baits, but rather the ability to create link bait which grows into powerful sources of transfer traffic through social websites.
