Bing Launches Business Portal
Bing brings a new way for the Business owners to explore it by creating and controlling their online listing in order to gain positive response from their customers. This new feature for business allows owners to create deals and promote their offers on both Bing desktop and Bing Mobile.
The BBP (Bing Business Portal) will replace the Bing Local Listing Center (LLC), and all existing listing on LLC will automatically directed to the Bing Business Portal. To start exploring this feature in Bing for your business, first of all you need to claim your business listing in Bing. This can be done either by phone or PIN (which is sent by email). You could enhance and manage your listings by confirming your identity as the owner of business listing. You are also given privileges to add photos, holiday hours, languages spoken, etc and also links to your Website, Facebook Page and Twitter Url. Hotel business can further explore by listing menus either by creating one in the BBP or giving a link to the existing menu. Those who wish to be listed in the mobile should design a mobile menu for their customers to view in their mobile device. BBP also gives you the option to edit and add six categories and keywords to offer your viewers a better picture. These preferences are created in order to optimize your listing in Bing so that customers could reach you and your business listings.
This is not stopping here. Bing offers a means to promote your business by permitting you to create discount coupon, rebate, and promotion etc through ‘Deals’. You can also specify a category (dollar amount, dollars off. percentage off, etc) and also give details of the same and promote it on your business listing page and Facebook page without wasting a single penny. Once you are finished creating Deals, then you can publish them on your Facebook Business Page. Businesses with Deals will be displayed on Bing desktop search results, as well as on the Deal tab from the Bing for Mobile browse homepage (m.bing.com).
