For many sites this plan is a very ideal plan. Instead of targeting global keywords that might not be necessary for your business we recommend going for targeting your states first and then going to other states from there. Prices vary depending on the number of keywords, states targeted , number of cities inside the targeted states, whether counties are included in targeting the state, competition of the keywords etc.

Number of keywords: More the number of keywords targeted more costly its going to be. Work level is different based on the number of keywords say you have 1000 keywords its very important we make the site big enough to hold the competition for that many keywords. A 25 page site is not going to get traffic for 1000 keywords.

States Targeted: States like Texas, California, New york , Florida are much more competitive than states like new mexico, Washington, Illinois. So its important before starting the project we finalize the keywords that will be targeted for ranking the website,
Number of cities inside the targeted states: If client doesn’t mention this we will select a list of keywords and optimize it for selective states. A state like California has more than 2500 cities which make the optimization difficult. If all the cities inside a state needs to be targeted number of keywords targeted will be in the range 5000 to 10,000 keywords which will be huge number keywords targeted. Counties to be included: If you want to include certain counties you are welcome to do it but cost varies depending on that. Please feel free to contact us for further clarification.

Competition of the keywords: This is the single most important factor when it comes to deciding a pricing. The more competitive a keyword is more difficult its going to be ranked. All keywords are not treated equal digital cameras are much more competitive than wristbands. Similarly Car dealer is very competitive compared to car bumper protection.
