What will the Microsoft decide?
Google CEO Eric said, "We would be concerned by any kind of acquisition of Yahoo by Microsoft and We would hope that anything they did would be consistent with the openness of the Internet, but I doubt it would be." This means a lot. Microsoft is known for the mistrust and it is got a history of antitrust problems. This would continue and it will create problems for the whole online world is what Google feels. Google shares the sentiments of many people around the world who are against this bid from Microsoft. The handing over of Yahoo to Microsoft will cost a huge loss to the whole world of Internet. It may prove bad for the internet is what they feel.
With these commotions going on here, Yahoo says that it is a financially potential company. The Chief Executive Jerry Yang said recently that "Yahoo! is positioned for accelerated financial growth--we have a powerful consumer brand, a huge global audience and a highly profitable operating model." That also means that they are more worth than the Microsoft's bid. With both the major search engines taking opposite stands against Microsoft's bid in different positions, what do the Microsoft officials do? Is there a big change that is going to happen or a small fractional change?
