AUTOMATED ONE WAY BACKLINKS
I am surprised how far people can go when they want to spam Google and get backlinks to their website. In links industry, automated links were restricted to link exchanges, FFA, Directories; Article sites etc but nowadays even one way links are automated. A typical example is TNX.net which uses a standard inclusion code onto your website and later they retrieve ads text links from their servers and display them on advertiser's website. Text link ads follow a similar concept but they load XML files directly onto the advertisers hosting and the xml retrieves dynamic data from text link server.
Digitalpoint.com used a similar concept but what they used is a more rotating system than a permanent one. Every time a page is refreshed a new set of text links show up on the advertiser website. Google woke up to the occasion and temporary links became a failure. But today TNX and TLA concepts work to an extent. For me this is the worst game you play with a search engine.
These days search engines rely so much on links as part of their algorithm and these link selling companies take advantage of it and promote something terrible and blatantly against the search engine guidelines. Imaging how hard it is to impress people and gain natural backlinks unless you do some miracle stuff, it is very hard to get 100s or 1000s of backlinks in a day but the TNX system does that. TNX claims "Prices of links are the lowest on the market. For as low as $11 a month you may get up to 10,000 static links to your website." That is ridiculous how you get 10,000 backlinks from different pages from different sites for a mere 11$ a month. If you were to rank a site naturally by building links manually how will you compete with such strong spam, even Google is aware of this. Google has always stood up to the occasion when someone tried to game their search engines. They keep updating their algorithm to discard low quality backlinks from benefiting a site. TNX concept will be affected by this because their network vastly has low quality backlinks. It is not just TNX; there are still many companies that use automated one way links to boost their client websites. As long as the search engines exist people will keep finding new ways to game the search engines.

Advertisers create text or image ads which are placed automatically across the tens of thousands of sites in the network, publishers are given some php code that they embed on every page on their site. By this way the coop network developed with close to 50 million links in the network. Millions of advertisers created advertisements using images, text links etc and all these ads were displayed on the network on a rotation basis, i.e. every time a page was refreshed, a new set of links will appear on the webpage.
